Kundalini Yoga – MAY classes – Chiswick W4

For classes in May we have a Monday evening class at 18:15 – 19:30 and a Saturday morning class 08:30 – 09:45.

(Classes will not be held on on the bank holidays Monday’s 6th May and 27th May).

Also because of the Bedford Park Festival in June classes will be reduced. (I am working on a temporary home for us – more about that next time).

Gosh April begins on Monday. This year is just flying by💫

For April’s classes we have a Monday evening class at 18:15 – 19:30 and a Saturday morning 08:30 – 09:45. (Classes will not be on at the Easter weekend 20th and 22nd).

April’s classes will be packed with Kriya’s and meditations to restore your personal power by deep self healing, removing fear and anxiety and connecting you to your Infinite Self. Essentially deeply restoring sets empowering you for lasting transformation.🤩✨

March 2019: Kundalini Yoga classes – Brand new alignment and intentions this Spring

I hope you are all very well indeed.

Wow what amazing weather we are having. Spring for sure feels likes it’s on its way.

For Saturday’s Kundalini Yoga classes in March we will be tapping into the energy of Spring to create a foundation for change… but first we must do some ‘spring cleaning’ internally.

Spring is the time to clean out all that isn’t you and all that separates you from your destiny.  Spring is also the time to set your intentions that you want to plant and to see grow in the year ahead.

We process all forms of energy in our lives including energy in the food we eat and the thoughts we think. When that flow is continuous and clear, we are steady and flexible. The trouble is that we accumulate more than we process especially in the Winter months. We become weighted down under the ash of metabolism and the remnants of old emotions.

The Kundalini Yoga classes in March will systematically move the stagnated energy held in the body and subconscious mind to help facilitate brand new alignment and intentions this Spring.

February 2019: Kundalini Yoga classes – For complete strength

This Monday’s Kundalini Yoga class on the 4 February at 18:30 – 19:45 will be my last class on a Monday evening. I will now be teaching at the same venue but on Saturday mornings from 08:30 – 09:45.

Essentially you might find Saturday mornings work better for your practice not only to cleanse and destress you from the busy week you already have had; it will also ensure you relax fully for your weekend as well.

Kundalini Yoga classes for February are:

Monday 4th at 18:30 – 19:45

Saturday 9th, 16th and 23rd at 08:30 – 09:45

I have made available a February pass which means you receive x3 classes for the price of x4 which you can purchase from Eventbrite by clicking on the link below.

The theme for February’s classes is building strength and to attract everything you need with ease. It’s important for all of us to have a strong core and the yoga workouts in February will help you build strength and muscle. Yoga for muscles also works on the nervous system to strengthen your nerves as well! 

As Kundalini Yoga for strength increases our focus on our core it will also ensure that we can stand up for ourselves to follow our true path rather than someone else’s ideals for us.

Simple, quick and powerful, these sets provide an amazing weight loss workout, toning the buttocks, abs and legs which improves flexibility and again strengthens the nervous system.

Through the practice we will strengthen our aura to attract positive outcomes and repel any negativity which happens when our aura is bright and strong (think of it as your shield).

Monday’s Kundalini Yoga class 21 January – To keep you enchantingly beautiful

A note about Monday’s class (21 January).

The theme of Monday’s class is to keep you enchantingly beautiful. Anti-aging, beauty and vitality are not external processes. True beauty and anti-aging is rooted in knowing how to access and activate your own human system to work efficiently, without stress and strain, and with intelligence. This experience is at the foundation of  Kundalini yoga and meditation.

Kundalini Yoga is the science of the body, mind and total life experience. It’s like an owner’s manual for human living, something many of us never received. Kundalini Yoga is also in my opinion, the top health and beauty technology—beauty from the inside out.

The modern hard living years between school and when we “settle down” in our 30’s (or 40’s or 50’s) are integral to the efficacy of your youth reserves, health, and longevity as you age past the age of 36. And if you didn’t catch yourself early, don’t worry Monday’s class is designed specifically to rebuild and heal your body functioning for increased vitality and youthful beauty. The proof will be in your increased radiance and natural glow after the class and as always you can take these practices home to do yourself.

We will practice two Kriya’s to keep you enchantingly beautiful and to keep the body beautiful. They will put such circulation in your body and your cheeks that you won’t need make-up🤩

You may recall we do Cat -Cow quite a bit in class but we will experience it at speed. Only in Kundalini Yoga do you find the fast version of cat-cow. But the visible anti-aging benefits of cat-cow are in the speed! You really do have to “twerk it.” The fast cat-cow exercise creates and then pumps a great flux of cerebrospinal fluid through your system. Cerebrospinal fluid is good for many things. But it’s especially exquisite for producing more collagen!

After our relaxation will be our meditation with mantra to completely neutralise tension. Skin also benefits from the mantras as well when your tongue, teeth and upper palette move in the certain way need to form the mantra, your mouth creates shapes and a molecular pattern is what what we call a frequency i.e it’s electrical!. And after chanting mantra, even just for 5 minutes, you can feel it! The muscles, tissue and skin on your face start buzzing! Your skin becomes bright, strong, supple and continues to project that “sacred geometry,” creating even more radiance. It’s truly wonderful. Wahe Guru

Monday’s Kundalini Yoga class 14 January – Completely lift and elevate yourself

Thank you to everyone who joined this Monday’s class. It was very special indeed and thank you for the lovely feedback.

A note about Monday’s class (14 January).

If you were to ask Kundalini Yoga teachers the question “If you could teach only one Kundalini Yoga practice what would that be?”

The answer you would most probably hear back is Sat Kriya.

KY has 100’s of Kriya’s to choose from. A Kriya is like a yoga set. A set of exercises for a desired outcome and the number of exercises can range from 2 to 27 exercises in one set.

However there is one exercise that stands alone that forms a complete yoga set. A Kriya on its own and that is Sat Kriya.

Very very powerful.💫

Sat Kriya uses the Apana energy which is elimination and Prana energy which is ourlife force energy and brings those energies to the navel, creates heat, the Kundalini energy starts to uncoil and travel from the lower chakras up to the higher chakras .

What does that mean in layman’s terms?

Chakras are vortex’s of energy but they are also states of consciousness. Consciousness is how you view the world. To give you an example of someone who has trapped energy in the first chakra they could be overly concerned with survival. How do I get a job,? How do I keep my job?  How will I pay my bills?  Put food on my table? All survival stuff. Or if somebody has trapped energy in the second chakra they will see the whole world through a sexual lens and so on. That can create a very limited view of your world if you are coming from those lower states of consciousness. It like being in a tiny Mini car on the motorway driving, you look to your left and all you can see is a big lorry, in front a big SUV and to the right of you and behind you other large vehicles obscuring your view. Your view is very limited.  Sat Kriya raises your consciousness, so its like being up on a double decker bus, you are on the very top and have a 360 view of what’s going on around you expands your awareness.

All yoga works but Kundalini Yoga works fast, That’s the beauty of the practice. The Sat Kriya practice can completely shift your consciousness. You can wake up in the morning and just think the world is the pits, I feel so negative I don’t even want to be with myself, I’m just going to go back to bed. You can take that state of consciousness, do Sat Kriya just for 3 minutes and Wahe Guru you can completely lift and elevate yourself out of that state.

It’s a beautiful tool to have and we will be experiencing Sat Kriya in Monday’s class as well as our relaxation which is important as it rejuvenates the body and helps release stress.

We will then practice the Adi Shakti Mantra meditation which tunes one into the frequency of the Divine Mother, and to the primal protective, generating energy. It is said that chanting it eliminates fears and fulfils desires. It will help you to be free of the insecurities which block freedom of action to create your best life.

Monday’s Kundalini Yoga class 7 January – Detox and Destress

Happy New Year beautiful Souls.💫✨

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year and are excited for 2019.

I am so looking forward to sharing the teachings of Kundalini Yoga with you in 2019 and my first thought to get you ready for 2019 was to give you an extra edge as we start this new year.

So for Monday’s class it will be a dynamic and attuning class where we will be giving our glandular system an MOT with a Kriya specifically designed to detox and destress. Our energy can be flowing, we can be eating well, sleeping enough but if our adrenals fail it is hard to keep up. We get tired and snappy. Glandular balance and in particular, strong adrenals and kidneys are important to have that extra edge, to control anger and provide an abundance of energy. Without strong adrenals and kidneys, the heart can’t function well either and this set will see you calibrated and strong.

After the Kriya we will lie in shavasana for our relaxation. Then we will practice a mediation to cleanse the subconscious, to give us clarity and control of our actions to help us make the best decisions to create out best lives.

Monday’s Kundalini Yoga class 17 December – Equilibrium with Rhythm

I hope you have all had a wonderful week.

A note about Monday’s class 17 December (the last class now until 7 January 2019)

Well to start off.  This class is my gift to you all!🎅

So there will be no charge 🎁

Looking to this time of the year most of us are in the pre-Christmas run up, excepting that this time of year creates more stress and anticipation than normal. We are almost hypnotically caught under the influence of this seasonal effect.

As we are becoming more aware through Yoga  how stress impacts the body and the mind. These impacts effect all of us very deeply. A daily checkin with ourselves to calibrate and to neutralise tensions from emotions allows us to reconnect with our beautiful selves and keeps us physically well.

This Kundalini Yoga class is based around rhythm to achieve an equilibrium (a balanced state) . Movement with rhythm, unforced, graceful and free releases emotional traumas that have left signatures in the body and mental imbalances.

Women especially need to relax completely on a daily basis. If the system is weak then tissues will tense and the joints will build up deposits causing illness making true relaxation difficult.

In this class we’ll feel the entire body, completely neutralising tension which puts you in a relaxed balanced state. This will revitalise the glandular system, reestablish the glandular equilibrium and strengthen the heart and circulatory system. & of course strengthen’s the aura a running theme in the classes recently to attract the best experiences to you.

As the year closes it’s an emotional time for everyone. Rebalancing the energies within us will elevate us to experience our true Self and ground us to emerge into 2019 revitalised and balanced.

Monday’s Class 10 December – Empowerment and Vitality

I hope you are all well and have had a wonderful week so far.

We have a fresh new moon today so if you are thinking of starting your 40 day practice today it’s a really good day to start.  Mercury’s retrograde finished yesterday so we should be feeling a lot lighter and our communication wires uncrossed. Wahe Guru 🤩

A note about our class on Monday 10 December.

For Monday’s class our focus is on vitality and empowerment. Our kriya this week will stimulate the Kundalini energy through the 8 chakras which work on cleansing and making the aura stronger and brighter to attract good things to your life. It will also generate endorphins – those lovely feel-good neurotransmitters in the body. This is also a great over all toning kriya to get you ready for your Christmas celebrations.

After the kriya we have our relaxation and then we are going to practice the Adi Shakti Meditation.

Having strong vitality in our bodies increases the capacity of our mind to process and deal with the challenges of everyday life, which becomes part of our ability to apply our resolve, our will, with unwavering determination. As we establish a reservoir of vitality, we will be more able to tap into the conscious direction of our Soul and the life energy needed to fulfil our purpose on the planet thus creating your best life.

The Adi Shakti Mantra increases our vitality and tunes us into the frequency of the Divine Mother, to the primal protective, generating energy that surrounds us. 

It is said that chanting this mantra eliminates fears and fulfils desires. It will help you to be free of the insecurities which block freedom of action. 

Today or any day Breathe in and mentally say the word ‘Victory’ and exhale. You will find the strength of a hundred angels behind you. (YB)

Feeling Elevated after Monday’s class (3rd Dec)

This is my Kundalini Yoga class on a Monday night. (Taken this evening. Aren’t they lovely).

In the last weeks  we have practiced Kirtan Kriya Meditation, Gyan Chakra Kriya Meditation and Siri Gaitri Meditation but it was the meditation/mantra tonight that inspired and it was the hardest so far.

Hari Nam Sat Nam Hari Nam Hari,

Hari Nam Sat Nam Sat Nam Hari 

We chanted this mantra for 11 mins with mudra & music to eliminate negativity, energise all the systematic systems (including the nervous system) so that we can apply the master brake in life necessary to maintain self control. To give us the strength to find the silver lining in any cloud so we can pass the challenges life presents and sail towards fulfilment.

It’s hard the first time.

Monday’s class 3rd December: Energy and Protection

I hope you are all having a wonderful week.

A note about Monday’s class on the 3 December 2018

This Monday we will begin with an energising kriya that enhances our flexibility and strengthens the Aura (and the Sciatic nerve if that’s a particular issue for you this will help tremendously).

At this time of year we are all going into the pre Christmas emotional rollercoaster and this kriya will set you up to project with royalty and grace in how you present yourself in any situation. This kriya conditions the whole body (slightly more aerobic than last week) with the radiant body.

(We have 10 bodies in KY, the physical body is just one. There are three mental bodies: negative, positive and neutral; the soul, the arc body, the auric body, the pranic body, the subtle body, and last of all, your shield, the radiant body).

Some refer to the radiant body as a band that sits on top of the aura, almost like a golden tip or energy field.

The kriya will allow us to come through anything radiantly and cheerfully no matter what setbacks, obstacles or challenges we face. Prosperity is just round the corner, your radiance will ensure you don’t give up just before the good stuff arrives.

After our relaxation we will practice the mediation Hari Nam Sat Nam Hari Nam Hari which a simple creative meditation. It will eliminate negativity, energise all the systematic systems (including the nervous system) so that you can apply the master brake in life necessary to maintain self control. It will give you the strength to find the silver lining in any cloud and you can pass the challenges life presents and sail towards fulfilment.

This class have been continued in 2019 starting on the 7th Jan. I appreciate some of you have bought the 3 class offer, you can use these next year if you don’t use them up in 2018.

We are in the Gabrielle room this week, the room we have used for the last few weeks. We have a choir practicing at the same time as our yoga class for the weeks leading up to Christmas in the large hall which adds to the cosmic ambiance of the space. Wahe Guru.🌱
